Route and stops

Route 8 makes a short, direct journey between the two stations, with only six points. This is ATI’s official route in the Martínez Nadal → Piñero direction:

  • Martínez Nadal Station — Urban Train connection
  • Ave. Jesús T. Piñero
  • Ave. Ponce de León
  • Ave. Gándara
  • Ave. Barbosa
  • Piñero Station — Urban Train connection

In the opposite direction, from Piñero to Martínez Nadal, the route runs exactly in reverse, with identical times and frequencies.

Route based on ATI’s official itinerary. Check the official route map or the Transit app for real-time detail.

Schedule and frequency

Route 8 runs Monday to Saturday and public holidays, with the same times in both directions:

Days First trip Last trip Frequency
Monday to Friday 5:30 a.m. 8:40 p.m. every 33 min
Saturdays 6:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. every 40 min
Holidays 6:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. every 60 min
⚠️ Route 8 does not run on Sundays. Bear in mind too that the Urban Train itself links Martínez Nadal and Piñero directly, every day from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., so for that particular journey the train is usually faster and more reliable.

AMA schedules can change and are not always kept exactly. Check the real arrival time in the official Transit app before leaving.
