How to Get from MEPSI Psychiatric Hospital

A 6-minute walk: exit MEPSI Center Psychiatric Hospital through the main entrance, head east along Marginal Norte Street. Jardines Station will be visible on your left, identifiable by its elevated gray structure.

Accessible route for patients, visitors and medical staff using the Urban Train from other parts of the island to reach this mental health center.

How to Get from Jardines Station Plaza

A 4-minute walk: from Jardines Station Plaza (neighborhood park next to the tracks), walk north along the east sidewalk of Marginal Street. Access the station via the stairs or pedestrian access ramp.

Bus Service (AMA)

According to ATI’s official itinerary, no AMA (Autoridad Metropolitana de Autobuses) route has its own stop at Jardines station.

Jardines Station does have a Park & Ride lot with 128 spaces, according to the Integrated Transport Authority (ATI). Options:

  • Jardines Park & Ride: 128 spaces, access from Marginal Sur Street
  • Bayamón Park & Ride: free parking at Bayamón terminal (480 spaces, 6 min by train)
  • Drop-off zone: pedestrian drop-off on Marginal Street

Note: with 128 spaces this is a small facility compared with the 480 at Bayamón terminal, so keep that alternative in mind at peak times.

The Urban Train runs every day of the year, and Jardines Station follows the same schedule as the rest of the line: 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM, with trains every 8–12 minutes at peak times.
