Urban Train Stations in San Juan, Puerto Rico

The Puerto Rico Urban Train has 1 line in operation and a total of 16 stations, running from Bayamón to Sagrado Corazón across the municipalities of San Juan, Guaynabo and Bayamón.

Five of them also work as AMA bus terminals: Bayamón, Martínez Nadal, Cupey, Piñero and Sagrado Corazón. Most stations are elevated, though some are at street level or underground.

How many stations does the Puerto Rico Urban Train have?

It has 16 stations, from the Bayamón terminal in the west to the Sagrado Corazón terminal in the east, crossing the municipalities of Bayamón, Guaynabo and San Juan.

Which stations have free parking?

Six stations offer free Park & Ride parking: Bayamón (480 spaces), Jardines (128), Torrimar, Martínez Nadal (1,007), San Francisco (519) and Cupey (297). Over 2,400 free spaces in total, according to ATI.

Which station is closest to the airport?

Piñero. From there you can take AMA route 40, which connects to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. AMA buses only allow hand luggage.

Which station is closest to the University of Puerto Rico?

The Universidad station, next to the UPR Río Piedras campus. Don’t confuse it with Roosevelt station, which is next to the Polytechnic University.
