Route 18 AMA: Cupey Station – Las Cumbres

Route 18 departs from Cupey Station on the Tren Urbano and climbs west through Lomas Verdes and Avenida Las Cumbres, serving the inland residential areas of Guaynabo and Bayamón.

Route 18 runs Monday to Saturday and on public holidays. These are the official ATI times:

⚠️ Route 18 does not run on Sundays. Bear in mind as well that the last return trip from Las Cumbres leaves at 7:54 p.m. on weekdays, earlier than on most routes in the network.

Right now travel is free because fare collection is suspended. When ATI reinstates fares, the price of Route 18 will be:

Payment will be made on boarding, with exact change or with the travel card sold at Tren Urbano stations. The card allows free transfers between train and bus within a 2-hour window.

Tren Urbano connection

Route 18 only meets the train at one end: Cupey Station. The other end, Las Cumbres, has no station nearby, so this bus is the way to reach the train from that area:

There is no direct link from Las Cumbres to any other station. If you are heading for Bayamón, route 27 connects the Las Cumbres area with Martínez Nadal Station, although by a different itinerary.
